Activate Church is may be a bit different from what you expect a church to be… A saying you will hear often is “You don’t have to believe like us to be with us” and we mean it!
Come as you are
We are a church that is committed to accepting people where they are and inviting them to join this journey of spirituality and service together. None of us believe everything the same and we know that just as we all share in our differences God is working on us individually and at our own pace. We all have ways to grow but the beauty of God’s plan is that he can use us to MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER no matter where we find ourselves. God isn’t looking for the qualified, he’s looking for the willing.
What should I wear?
Wear what you feel comfortable in. You will find people dressed mostly casual and will likely find our lead pastor in a t-shirt and flip flops. Wear what you want, really, it’s cool.
Is there a place for my children?
We are very new as a church and at this time we are proud to offer Activate Kids church from ages 3-11. For the younger children we have a place provided for parents to be able to engage in the service and allow their small children to play with the toys provided. In Activate Kids your children will be have an engaging lesson, will sing songs, play learning games and likely get a snack! Because we believe we are to partner with you (the parents) in the spiritual growth of your children we teach the same things in Activate Kids as we do in the adult service so you can reinforce the lessons throughout the week.
How long is it?
Our services aim to be 1 hour long and are typically between 1 hour and 1 hour and 10 minutes.
What can I expect?
Expect to meet a friendly bunch of people who are working on creating a movement of compassion. The service will feature elements of teaching, worship, a bit of humor and a challenge to grow as a person and join us in that movement.
